Auli, a charming town in India, is renowned as the country’s top ski resort. Originally a paramilitary base, it now attracts tourists and professional skiers alike. During winter, Auli hosts exciting snow adventure events and offers skiing lessons.
Nestled at an altitude of around 2,800 meters, Auli is surrounded by acres of oak and coniferous forests, offering breathtaking views of some of India’s highest peaks, including Nanda Devi, the country’s second-highest peak at 7,816 meters. Auli also serves as the gateway to the Nanda Devi and Valley of Flowers National Park, along with trekking destinations like Gorson Bugyal, Pangerchulla Summit, and Tapovan.
